the other day my dear friend ben had the lovely idea of hosting a pumpkin party. everyone was instructed to bring their own pumpkin and pumpkin treats were encouraged.

carving the pumpkins was so much fun. i realized i carve my family pumpkin almost every year, probably because i don't mind getting my hands messy and always have overly ambitious ideas. this year, in honour of canadian thanksgiving, i carved a turkey. :)

That's a really great idea. Although I feel I might be a little pumpkined out after a party like that :) But still, pumpkin treats are always yummy!
